Social Media Content Creator

Matrix Education is hiring a Social Media Content Creator to join the Marketing Team.

What you’ll do…

  • Work with the Marketing Team to plan, develop and implement social media strategies across multiple channels.
  • Act as the persona of our brand and create high quality content including reels and short-form personalised content that connects with our audience.
  • Attend campus locations across Sydney to create high-quality short-form videos that educate audience about our inspirational courses, teachers and facilities.
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content that aligns with brand messaging and is tailored for each platform.
  • Utilise design and editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Canva) to enhance visuals, engagement and storytelling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, content, and sales, to deliver high quality content and ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Create engaging organic and paid social media campaigns across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Engage with followers to build a strong online community and respond promptly to social media interactions.
  • Monitor viral trends, challenges, hashtags and platform updates to stay ahead of the digital shift.

 

What you’ll need…

  • Minimum two years of commercial digital marketing experience.
  • Confident and energetic, with a love for social media.
  • Creativity and passion for engaging digital communities and being a brand persona.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and implementing social media and content marketing strategies.
  • Experience in content creation, video editing, and graphic design.
  • Advanced Canva skills for designing engaging visuals, social media posts and marketing materials, in alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Ahead of the curve in recognising online trends and building audiences in new social media platforms.
  • Exceptional copywriting and written communication skills, with experience in using AI tools (like ChatGPT) to enhance efficiency.
  • Detail-orientated and striving for a high degree of precision.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics and Salesforce Marketing Cloud to execute and manage campaigns effectively.
  • Current tertiary studies in Marketing, Communications, Media or Journalism or a related field.
