| 1 – 4 | The first four lessons deal with the theoretical aspects of a module – in these lessons students learn how to approach a text according to the module demands.These lessons focus on the theory specific to a module. |
| 5 – 8 | The next four lessons ensure students are able to apply the theory they have learnt in the first half of the term in a series of lessons which focus on essay skills.The second half of the term allows students to hone their essay writing skills for the module – students receive consistent and regular feedback from their teacher as they learn how to tailor an essay to the module. |
| 9 | In the final lesson, students are exposed to HSC exam-style questions to test their essay writing skills. |
– At Matrix English Module A classes are separated depending on the specific texts a student is studying. Upon enrolment, students must advise Matrix Education on the texts they are studying to ensure they are enrolled in the correct classes.
